Big Book Weekend 2020
We were proud to be part of the Big Book Weekend, a three-day virtual festival in May that brought together the best of the British literary fests, cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Representing the Birnam Book Festival was the renowned author, historian and television presenter Kate Williams, discussing her latest book Rival Queens: The Betrayal of Mary Queen of Scots – a “great rivalry reimagined for the #MeToo generation” – interviewed by biographer, poet and fiction writer Jenni Calder.
